Editing house, Cabin, has made three key promotions across its European office.
Kayt Hall, who steered the launch of Cabin Europe in 2022, is now officially Managing Director. Under her leadership Cabin Europe has won plaudits including at Ciclope; The British Arrows; and Silver, Edit House of the Year at Shots.
Hall’s experience includes stints at Cut+Run, Whitehouse Post, and ad agencies Ogilvy, and M&C Saatchi and has sat on industry juries like D&AD, Shots, and Ciclope.
Cabin Founder and Managing partner, Carr Schilling, said: “Kayt’s leadership has been essential to our success and through her the team’s natural talent, dedication to craft, creativity and hard work has successfully expanded the Cabin brand and ethos in the UK and Europe”
Caylee Banz has been promoted to Head of Production. Originally from Los Angeles, Banz honed her skills at top edit and VFX shops like Cut+Run and Cartel, crafting work for brands like Apple, Nike, Xbox, and Mercedes. She joined Cabin LA in 2024 before crossing the Atlantic to join the London team.
Kayt Hall said, “Caylee is the dream combination of team player and natural leader. It’s this, alongside unwavering commitment to craft and production expertise that elevates her to our new Head of Production.”
Ruth Minkley has been promoted to Executive Producer.
Kayt Hall said:: “Ruth has been part of Cabin Europe since our humble beginning when we were just one suite and a desk, to where we are now in Newman Street with 6 suites and a full roster. She has been integral to building and defining the creative culture we pride ourselves on.”
From Nottingham, Ruth first trained in acting before swapping the stage for the edit suite. She built her production career at Cut+Run and The Quarry before landing at Cabin, where she’s worked on major campaigns for Amazon, Uber Eats, and Clé de Peau Beauté—and notably helped bring U2’s Joshua Tree Tour visuals to life.
